ENDUI Oklahoma has introduced it’s going to have sobriety checkpoints in Payne County for this weekend’s Calf Fry Pageant.
Calf Fry begins Thursday and ends Saturday.
ENDUI with Oklahoma Freeway Patrol, Stillwater Police Division, OSU Police Division and Payne County Sheriff’s Workplace had beforehand arrange saturation patrols – not checkpoints – throughout the August 2020 WeedStock. That effort led to 14 suspected of DUI alcohol, 9 suspected of DUI medicine and 10 experiences of driving with open containers.
“The Stillwater Police Division shall be working with OHP and ENDUI this weekend for the annual Calf Fry Pageant,” SPD wrote in a social media publish. “We ask everybody to have a delegated driver or use the trip share providers this weekend for the live performance. We hope everybody enjoys the leisure and extra importantly makes it house safely.”
In response to Stillwater First Meeting, together with regulation enforcement and sponsor Texas Roadhouse, designated drivers who undergo sobriety checkpoints might be rewarded.
