LEMON GROVE (KUSI) – Sheriff deputies will conduct a DUI/driver’s license checkpoint this weekend in Lemon Grove.
The checkpoint is deliberate for 8 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday in an unspecified location, in line with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Division.
“Visitors quantity and climate allowing, all autos could also be checked and drivers who’re inebriated and/or medication will probably be arrested,” Sgt. Aaron Montan stated in a press release. “Our goal is to ship a transparent message to those that are contemplating driving a motorized vehicle after consuming alcohol and/or medication.”
The operation is funded by a grant from the California Workplace of Visitors Security by means of the Nationwide Freeway Visitors Security Administration.
