WORCESTER COUNTY – The Massachusetts State Police [MSP] have introduced there will likely be a sobriety checkpoint in Worcester County this weekend.
The checkpoint will happen from Friday night, Saturday, December 11, into Sunday, December 12.
In accordance with the MSP, the aim of the sobriety checkpoint is to “…educate the motoring public and strengthen the general public’s consciousness to the necessity of detecting and eradicating these motorists who function inebriated and/or medicine from our roadways.”
The checkpoint will likely be operated throughout random hours.
The State Police assures that officers will choose autos at random and that security will likely be a precedence.
