REDDING, Calif. – Friday evening a Driving Underneath the Affect (DUI) and a driver’s license checkpoint was held on the 2200 block of Benton Drive in Redding between 6:30 and 10:00 p.m.
The checkpoint resulted in a single arrest for DUI. The person arrested was 36-year-old Robert Moats of Redding.
566 automobiles went via the checkpoint and had been screened by the Redding Police Division.
Three drivers had been cited for driving on a suspended license, and two for driving with out licenses.
Arrests had been made from two drivers with excellent felony warrants, one for a misdemeanor warrant, and the 4th arrest was the one for the DUI.
