CLAREMONT, CA — The Claremont Police Division will maintain a DUI checkpoint Friday night to catch any drivers who could also be inebriated or medication.
The checkpoint will likely be held in an undisclosed a part of city from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., police stated. Officers may also be trying to find motorists who will not be carrying their seatbelts or are driving on an expired license.
The Claremont Police Division acquired funding for the checkpoint by way of a grant offered by the California Workplace of Site visitors Security and the Nationwide Freeway Site visitors Security Administration, the company stated in an announcement.
