HUNTINGTON — The West Virginia State Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Could 22, on the intersection of twentieth Road and third Avenue in Huntington.
An alternate checkpoint website has been designated as U.S. 60 on the twenty ninth Road exit close to Huntington.
The main target of this checkpoint is driving beneath the affect (DUI) enforcement. Different enforcement actions could also be carried out, with police specializing in reckless driving, rushing and seat belt violations.
The West Virginia State Police encourages the general public to make use of the State Police *SP (*77) system to report drunk drivers, reckless driving, stranded motorists and felony violations.
