The Bakersfield Police Division launched statistics from a DUI / driver’s license checkpoint that was carried out in a single day Wednesday within the 200 block of Union Avenue.
In response to a BPD information launch, a complete of 927 autos have been screened by officers. Seven drivers have been detained for additional analysis to find out their sobriety affect degree and three have been arrested for driving inebriated and/or medicine, the information launch said.
Twenty-eight drivers have been cited for driving whereas unlicensed and 25 have been cited for driving with a suspended license, police stated.
Fifty-four autos have been seized because of the checkpoint. Forty-seven of them have been impounded and 7 have been launched to licensed drivers.
