2 arrested in Grayson County on trafficking, possession charges at safety checkpoint

GRAYSON COUNTY, Ky. (WAVE) – A site visitors security checkpoint in Grayson County results in a number of arrests final Friday.

The checkpoint was carried out on the intersection of Antioch Street and Peonia Street on October 1, in accordance with the Grayson County Sheriff’s Workplace.

Police mentioned round 125 automobiles have been inspected for impaired drivers or anybody not sporting a seat belt. Through the operation, officers served 5 legal arrest warrants, confiscated 40 grams of methamphetamines confiscated and carried out two DUI arrests.

Charles Ray Gaither, 29, from Vine Grove, and Brandi Bush, 28, from Large Clifty, have been booked in Grayson County Detention Middle.

Police mentioned citations have been additionally issued for drivers with no insurance coverage, open alcoholic containers in a motorized vehicle, expired license plates and no seat belts.
