BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two drivers had been arrested on suspicion of DUI and 31 automobiles had been impounded throughout a DUI checkpoint Friday night time in south Bakersfield, in accordance with police.
The division stated officers carried out the DUI and driver’s license checkpoint within the 1900 block of Ming Avenue between 6 p.m. Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday.
Two drivers had been arrested on suspicion of DUI from alcohol, officers stated. Thirty-one automobiles had been impounded, 9 drivers had been cited for driving on a suspended license and 31 drivers had been cited for driving with no license, BPD stated in a press release.
Anybody who suspects seeing an impaired driver on the highway is urged to name 911.
