An off-duty FDNY firefighter was arrested Saturday morning for allegedly driving drunk and crashing a automobile in Brooklyn, police mentioned.
Yusbin Diaz, 32, was busted at 2:30 a.m. and charged with DWI, first offense and driving whereas his capacity was impaired, the NYPD mentioned.
Diaz was working a 2009 Toyota Camry alongside Sullivan Place and Rogers Avenue in Crown Heights at 2 a.m. when the episode unfolded, the NYPD mentioned.
The off-duty firefighter “struck a parked automobile and was taken into custody,” a division spokesman mentioned. The parked automobile was unoccupied on the time of the crash, police mentioned.
Nobody was reported injured.
