Jun. 23—A Stillwater man was positioned below arrest for being suspected of driving below the affect of medicine after driving via Claire’s on Tuesday night.
Brendan Presley, 18, was driving a 2013 Chevy Silverado eastbound via the parking zone within the 700 block of Perkins Street.
In response to the collision report written by Stillwater Officer Trevor Meridith, Presley struck a curb after which drove into Claire’s.
Meridith wrote within the report he was informed by Presley that because of the stitches on his left hand, he blacked out for a brief time period, and he did not really feel good.
The supervisor of the Claire’s retailer posted in a Stillwater group Fb group that no workers or clients inside the shop have been injured.
“Thanks all on your concern, and hopefully we’ll get a mini transform and be again up and working quickly,” she wrote.
Presley was transported to the town jail Tuesday after which transported to Payne County Jail on Wednesday, and a cost of working a motorized vehicle whereas below the affect of an intoxicating substance was filed.
He made his first court docket look Wednesday and can return to court docket Aug. 10.
