Ex-“Deadliest Catch” star Jake Harris might not have realized his lesson from a earlier DUI bust that landed him behind bars … ’trigger we’ve realized he was busted once more for DUI.
A spokesperson for the Washington State Patrol tells TMZ … Harris was busted close to Mount Vernon, WA. final week after cops say they clocked him driving a Dodge Journey 86 MPH in a 70 MPH zone.
We’re informed Harris didn’t initially pull over … and drove one other 3 miles to cease in a protected location. Cops say they found Harris’ license is revoked. Even when it wasn’t revoked, cops say Harris was required to have an ignition interlocking machine put in — a requirement from his previous DUI conviction.
And, you guessed it, cops say Harris didn’t have the machine put in for the reason that automotive apparently belonged to a good friend who had loaned it to him. In any occasion … cops stated Harris’ eyes had been bloodshot, his pupils had been constricted, face was pale and his speech was repetitive.
Cops say Harris informed them he had taken prescribed meds that morning, although the cop wouldn’t say what sort. They suspected he was impaired … and after Harris refused a sobriety check, cops arrested him.
He was booked into county jail for felony DUI, misdemeanor driving on a license revoked and misdemeanor failure to have an ignition interlock put in. Data present he posted $50k bond and was launched on Tuesday.
As we first reported … Harris was sentenced to 18 months behind bars in 2019 following a weird police chase that led to his arrest on 2 felony costs … driving below the affect and possession with intent to fabricate or ship a managed substance … heroin.
