Jun. 27—TOLLAND — State police charged an Ellington man with drunken driving and different crimes after the car he was allegedly driving struck a motorized vehicle.
State police had been dispatched to a motorized vehicle accident within the space of Hunter and Crystal Lake roads round 1:16 a.m. as we speak.
Upon arrival, state police decided Spencer C. Kraus, 24, of 10 Cedarwood Drive, Ellington, was the motive force of the automobile that struck the motorbike, and was inebriated.
Kraus was taken to Rockville Basic Hospital for medical analysis and subsequently arrested. The 2 folks on the motorbike weren’t injured.
Kraus was charged with evading duty, illegally working a motorized vehicle beneath the affect, failure to obey a cease signal, and second-degree assault with a motorized vehicle. He’s being held in lieu of $250,000 bond and can seem Monday in Vernon Superior Court docket.
