DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ) — Police are investigating a double-fatal pedestrian crash involving an off-duty Baltimore County police officer in a single day Sunday.
It occurred simply after 2 a.m. alongside North Level Boulevard simply south of Norris Lane.
Police say a Subaru Legacy was driving south on North Level Boulevard struck a pedestrian who on the time was making an attempt to cross the highway. The motive force of the Subaru stopped on the east fringe of North Level Boulevard after the crash occurred.
Shortly after, a driver passing by noticed the pedestrian within the roadway and stopped to assist. As she walked into the highway to assist, she was struck and killed by a passing motorcyclist.
Each pedestrians had been pronounced lifeless on the scene, recognized as 34-year-old Joshua Day and 21-year-old Berlynn Matthews.
