A Hernando man was jailed for allegedly driving impaired and inflicting a three-vehicle collision south of the Citrus-Marion county line, killing a motorist and injuring two others.
Florida Freeway Patrol (FHP) troopers took 38-year-old David Michael Kahler into custody after responding Monday night, Jan. 24, to the lethal crash on State Highway 200 close to County Highway 491.

Kahler was arrested on fees of DUI manslaughter, DUI involving severe damage, DUI involving property harm, possessing marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia.
In accordance with FHP, Kahler was driving a pickup truck south on S.R. 200 at round 6 p.m. Monday, whereas a sedan and SUV had been northbound on the roadway, respectively.
