In Jackson County, Florida, a man was apprehended for driving while intoxicated on Interstate 10, as reported by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred on a Friday around 2 p.m when a police officer observed the man’s vehicle speeding and weaving through traffic on the westbound lane, endangering the lives of other road users.
The driver, identified as Mihirkumar Patel, was pulled over and asked to perform a field sobriety test, which he failed. He was subsequently taken to the Marianna Police Department for a breath alcohol test. Patel’s blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.170, more than twice the permissible limit.
