Dallas Rollover Crash: 1 Charged with DUI, Another Injured – NBC 5

A teenager, who allegedly drove while intoxicated, was arrested by Dallas Police after causing a vehicular accident in the Uptown neighborhood while trying to dodge the police early on Saturday morning.

Dallas Police Department reports stated that officers attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Trent Aslin around 2:15 a.m. on the 2900 block of Thomas Street. However, Aslin initiated a chase but eventually managed to abscond.

Around 3 a.m., the police received reports of a severe accident at the SB 75 Hall Street exit. Here, both cars ended up on the median of Hall and Thomas Street intersection.

The Corolla’s driver was hospitalized and is expected to recover.

Aslin was apprehended and charged with driving under the influence and evasion of arrest.

According to Dallas Police, the investigation related to the accident continues.
