A man from Clifton Springs was arrested by deputies for a felony DWI while having a child in the vehicle. The arrest was made during a vehicular stop in Canandaigua. The man, identified as Matthew Baker, 38, was taken into custody on Fort Hill Avenue around 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday. He was found guilty of intoxication and charged with DWI as a felony, given the presence of a minor under 15 in the vehicle. Baker is currently in custody and will respond to the charges at a future court hearing.
