Mother Arrested for DWI with Toddler in Car

A red car was stopped by the police. The traffic stop resulted in an arrest due to suspected DWI, with a 2-year-old child as a passenger, according to WJET/WFXP. The incident occurred when the Jamestown Police Department conducted a routine traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to use a turn signal and was driving in the oncoming traffic lane at around 12:30 a.m. on Friday.

Following the stop, the 27-year-old female driver from Jamestown was accused of drunk driving with a two-year-old child in the car. She was arrested without any dispute and taken to the Jamestown City Jail. In addition to accusations of aggravated DWI, the woman faces charges of child endangerment, not using a turn signal, and failing to drive on the correct side of the road. She is currently awaiting her hearing in the Jamestown City Court.
